Hailey is a talented policy, communications, and research professional with several years of experience conducting issue advocacy, policy research, and media relations for both the private and public sector. Most recently, she was a lead Democratic Strategist at Sage Media conducting media strategy for local, state, and federal political campaigns across the country. Previously, Hailey worked at the Department of Veterans Affairs in the Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs (OCLA),acting as a key liaison between the department and Members of Congress, as well as relevant committees. Earlier in her career, Hailey was the lead research assistant for the Illuminating Project, managing a team that analyzed and adjudicated political campaign advertisements during the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections. Her independent work as a political media researcher earned recognition in prominent outlets, including The Washington Post, Pew Research, and Real Clear Religion. She started her career managing media relations and strategy for labor, healthcare, and advocacy clients at Coyne PR and Berlin Rosen. Hailey holds a B.A. in Public Relations and Political Science from Syracuse University and an M.A. in American Government from Georgetown University.
