Poersch, a leading policy and political advisor, provides unrivaled expertise in Democratic political strategy and Government Affairs expertise. She specializes in a wide range of areas including telecom, transportation, defense, energy, healthcare, and retail. Poersch has represented over a dozen fortune 500 companies as well as trade associations, small and start up companies. She brings a sharp political instinct to the firm and is an expert in helping navigate where politics meets policy to best advise clients on federal strategy.
Prior to her government affairs and policy work, she spent over 15 years working on political campaigns and serving as a key advisor to Members of Democratic Senate Leadership and Committee Chairs. She managed finance operations for two Presidential campaigns and dozens of Senate and gubernatorial races across the nation. This unique political background enables her to frame a wide-range of issues into winning strategies before Members of Congress.
As an experienced policy advocate, Poersch has developed and led strategies resulting in successful company mergers, appropriations funding efforts, winning competitive federal grant awards, approval of foreign military sales, securing favorable agency regulatory actions, and enacting federal land transfers.
